Dear Mrs Umaraliyeva,
I am writing to offer my sincere apologies for reaching late to the lesson that you conducted on Friday.
It should be said that I attend the Russian language course at Opus study centre twice a week namely, Tuesday and Friday. In fact, my course usually finishes until university lessons begin at 1.00. However, as my tutor taught a difficult topic yesterday it took much more time to explain. For that reason, I had to leave my Russian course nearly at 1 o’clock. Also, I faced a traffic jam on the way and then, I had to take a diversion which was again a longer route to go to university. Due to this traffic situation, I got late by 20 minutes.
I am extremely sorry for not being able to attend the lesson on time and I ensure that I will not repeat such a thing in future. Actually, I will present my extra assignment for Friday’s topic in the next lesson.
I hope that my apologies will be accepted.
