THE COURSE OF THE LESSON 
Pre-Stage 
I. Organizational moment (1 min) 
The teacher greets the students and listens to the student on duty. The 
student reports on the date and attendance.
II. Revision of the previous lesson (10 minutes) 
Activity 1. Look at the picture and say "Good" or "Bad" 
To revise the previous topic "Save energy" the teacher organizes flashcard 
activity. She shows flashcards with sentences to the students and asks to 
say if it is a good habit for saving energy or bad.

Activity 2. Warm-up 
The teacher reads a poem to the students and asks to guess the topic of the 
lesson they are going to learn.
Green Trees 
Have you seen the 
Green, green trees? 
They clean the air, 
And cool the breeze, 
Smoke and dust. 
And garbage spill 
And dirty water 
Make us ill. 
So, let us promise 
To be clean. 
To keep our surrounding

III. Presenting the new theme (10 min) 
Activity 3. Let's go to the rainforest.
The teacher shows students a power point presentation about rainforests. 
The students read the information projected on the whiteboard. Before 
reading the teacher can present the vocabulary that is considered new for 
the students.
Let's go to the rainforest 
Do you know what a rainforest is like?
The weather is hot all year.
It’s called a rainforest because it’s always wet! It rains everyday! It feels hot 
and sticky. Let’s go to the rainforest and see some of the amazing things 
that live there. It’s not easy to get to the rainforest.
First you fly in an airplane.
Then you ride in a truck.
Then you go in a 
boat.
Here is a boat on a river in the rainforest. Finally, you walk. In the 
rainforest there are lots and lots of trees. The tops of trees can reach the 
clouds!
Do you know how to grow a tree? Dig a hole. Put the seed in the 
hole. Cover the seed with soil. Water the soil.
Many birds and animals live in the rainforest. The rainforest is home to 
millions of ants. Although they are small, they are very strong when they 
work together as a group.
The rainforest is very important to all of us. 
It cleans the air and is home to many animals and plants. If we protect the 
rainforest, we can help save the world!
