I like reading. Usually I get books from the library, but I have many of them at home as well. I love reading books about celebrities and detectives. Literature means a lot in my life. To better understand the character and life. I especially love the works of Tohir Malik. Tahir Malik (Tohir Hobilov) was born on December 27, 1946 in an educated family.

He studied at the evening department of the journalism faculty of Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan). He worked as a carpenter and bricklayer in construction. He later worked as a literary worker and department head at the present-day Tong Yulduzi newspaper (1966).

After returning from military service, he appeared on the Republican Radio, «Cholpon», G. He worked in the publishing houses of literature and art named after Gulom, in the magazines «Gulistan», «Sharq yulduzi», «Yoshlik», in the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan. Since 1995, he has been teaching Uzbek at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He translated Ikskul's «Honor and Death» (2010), «Honor and Revenge» (2011), K. Gotzi's «The Deer King» (play, 2011), and L. Tolstoy's «Jump» (1980) into Uzbek. At the same time, the author's works were translated into Arabic, Russian, Kyrgyz, Kazakh and Uyghur.
The author is also the author of a number of screenplays and radio plays.
People's Writer of Uzbekistan Tahir Malik was awarded the Order of Friendship in 1996.
The author passed away on May 16, 2019.
