PUBLIC NOTICE

TRANSFER OF DEVELOPMENT RIGHTS INFORMATIONAL MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township Planner of Berkeley Township will conduct an informational meeting for owners of properties within portions of the Pinewald Section of Berkeley Township proposed for inclusion in one or more “Sending Areas” in the Berkeley Township Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) Program. The meeting will be held on March 29, 2010 in the Township Council Meeting Room on the first floor of the Township Municipal Building, Pinewald-Keswick Road. beginning at 7PM. The Township Planner will provide an overview of the TDR Program with assistance from a subconsultant who is developing the required Real Estate Market Analysis (REMA), which assesses the value of the development rights that could be sold by Sending Area property owners to buyers developing land within designated “Receiving Areas”. A copy of the map identifying Sending and Receiving Areas is posted on the Township website and is on file in the Zoning Office during normal business hours.
