The charts below show the percentage of secondary school students at a school in the UK taking different subjects in 1995 and this year
The charts compare the number of secondary school students at a school in the UK. The first bar chart shows the figures for 1995 and the second for now. Overall, until present, there were changed in variety of subjects and it's number. Some subjects were replaced or removed.
In 1995, most of the students were taking History and Geography classes (26% and 23% respectively) and the less common subject was religious studies. However, presently IT classes overtook the highest position from History, with 1% difference in the figures. Meanwhile, by present, number of students who is taken Geography classes increased by 2%.
By now, some subjects were removed and one is added. Subjects related to religion and acting with 9% and 12% of students respectively, were excluded. Figures for scholars who were studying business in 1995 constituted 16% and this figure haven't changed by present. In contrast, Art subject, which was almost common as Business in the first given year, turned to the less common, and now only 8% of students are taking this subject. Interestingly, in 1995, generally there were 6 different subjects, and most of them were directed on drawing and acting. Nevertheless, by now, technical subject became the the most common among students at school.

The graph below shows the number of trips made by children in one country to travel to and from school in 1990 and 2010 using various modes of transport.


The bar chart compares the number of trips made by children in one country to commute school by different means of transport between 1990 and 2010. Overall, active traveling to school became less common throughout the period, while the reverse was true for trips made by public transport or car.
In 1990, commuting school on bus were the most common, approximately 12 millions of trips were made by that mode of transport. In contrast, using car to travel and from school were the least common, with 4 millions of trips per year. Notably, by 2010, the postion of bus and car is changed, and the figures of trips made by car overtook the peak from school journey made by bus. More than 12 millions of journeys to school and back, children had in car.
In terms of active traveling, such as walking and biking or partially usage of bus, had almost similar patterns in the first given year. Nevertheless, in 2010 number of trips made by bike or as walking slightly decreased. Cycling took the lowest postion, falling from 6 million trips to 2 millions per year.
