If you would like to be considered for a scholarship from Abby’s Helping Hand, please complete the following application:

Requirements for Qualification

• 
  Must be graduating from accredited high school in 2014
  

• 
  Must be attending an accredited college/university in the fall of 2014 and major in either the medical or education fields
  

• 
  The student is required to write an essay of no more than 150 words of how they have given back to the community (special needs children, elderly or local soup kitchens or food banks), through volunteering.
  

• 
  References from groups in which you volunteered must be included to verify the “giving back”
  

• 
  Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2014 to:

Selection Process

A committee of the Abby’s Helping Hand, Corp (independent of all applications) will review the applications and select at least 2 recipients for either $500 or $1,000 scholarship award.
