THE MAİN EVENTS HELD AT THE DEPARTMENT OF “INSTRUMENTATION 
ENGINEERING” DEDİCATED TO THE 
100
th
 ANNİVERSARY OF ASOIU 
 
 
On September 14, an online meeting-seminar of graduates of the Department of 
“Instrumentation Engineering” of ASOIU, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the University, was 
held. The meeting was attended by the Rector of the ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli, graduates 
and employees of the department who have built successful careers in various industries, companies, 
educational institutions and private companies. 
Head of the Department of Instrument Engineering, d.t.s. Lala Bekirova informed the 
participants about the current development of education at ASOIU and the achievements of the 
department, which was created in January 1961. At the our department, students receive education in 
three languages: Azerbaijani, English and Russian in the specialties "Instrumentation", "Engineering 
of biomedical technologies" and "Technique of standardization, metrology and quality control". The 
head of the department also said that this year it is planned to develop and adopt a new educational 
standard for this specialty, adapted to the existing education in the world's leading universities, to 
combine the above undergraduate specialties into one specialty - "Instrumental Engineering". 
ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli greeted the conference participants and noted the 
importance of organizing such events and establishing relations with graduates of our university. He
