Saturday, 6 July

11:30-12:30 Bring your Swim Gear (personal fins, paddles, pull buoys, kick boards) to front pool lobby after practice to give to Murphy’s for Camp. If Gold swimmer, you may give your gear to Murphy’s after Thursday’s practice concludes (5:00pm). Make sure bag has your name on it!



Sunday, 7 July

11:30 - Meet at Aquatics Center parking lot; load vehicles. (See car assignment)

12:15 - Depart for Wenatchee (160 miles, 3.5 hour trip + 1 stop) via 1:10 Bainbridge ferry

1:10 – Ferry to Seattle

1:45 – Depart for Wenatchee

9:15 – 10:05 Snack & dryland

10:10 – 10:20 – Return to hotel; re-pack swim bag

10:30 – 11:15 – Free time in rooms. Practice skits, write notes.

11:15 – Meet at hotel lobby for white water rafting or Murphy’s house (bring packed swim gear for evening practice either way). Grab sack lunch from Chaperones in lobby before loading (see carpool sheet for today’s event).

11:30 - Depart for white water rafting or Murphy’s house:

Directions:
The meeting place for our Wenatchee River trips is Riverside Park in the city of Cashmere. Meet us in the large dirt parking lot at the east end of the park – you’ll see our van just before the meet time. Riverside Park Cashmere, WA 98815 Located off of Hwy 2 in Cashmere, WA, about 12 miles east of Leavenworth and 12 miles west of Wenatchee. From Highway 2, turn into Cashmere on Aplets Way and cross the bridge over the Wenatchee River. Turn left onto Pleasant Ave. Follow into Riverside Park.

4:00 - White water rafting concludes; have snack & depart for Murphy’s house

6:45 - Arrive Wenatchee pool

7:00 – 9:00 Morning swim practice

9:00 – 9:15 Showers (counselors sweep locker room. Lockers are locked at 9”15am)

9:15-10:30 After swim snack, Field Day!

10:30 – Return to hotel

11:00 – 11:30 – Lunch at hotel patio lounge area

11:45 – Depart for Leavenworth (bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses & spending money with you!)

12:30 – 3:00 Leavenworth, Lion Club Park, 700 US Highway 2, Leavenworth, WA 98826, Ctrl+Click for directions to Lions Club Park, then walk to Fizzy’s Soda Fountain (217 8th St.) for ice cream, then to Waterfront Park (500 9th St.) to hang near river and cool off. MUST remain with your carpool group (or chaperone) especially if you choose to walk the shops rather than hang out at Waterfront Park.

3:00- 3:45 - Return to hotel; work on skits

This list is for the camp portion of the Wenatchee trip only. Please try to pack lightly as we have limited space for luggage. If you are going to the Starlight Invitational after the camp, you might need to pack additional items (or ask family members coming on Friday to bring the extra gear…)



  • Swim bag/practice suits(at least 2)/goggles/swim caps

  • Gear bag (pull buoy, paddles, kickboard – if you have) - Pack in swim or clothing bag

  • Towels (2-3)

  • Workout shorts and t-shirts

  • Sneakers

  • Flip-flops/pool shoes

  • Casual outfits for team activities

  • Undergarments

  • PJ’s

  • Sunglasses/ball cap or hat with visor

  • Toiletries (hairbrush, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush, etc.)

  • SUNSCREEN! (At least two bottles)

  • Water bottles (At least two)

  • Cell phones & chargers

  • Picture ID and/or medical insurance card

  • Spending Money (for fruit stands, trip to Leavenworth)
