DEVELOPING LEXICAL COMPETENCE OF GRADE 11 LEARNERS BY DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

 The subject
is teaching English PROCESS

 The object
of our study is the process of developing lexical competence of the
grade 11 learners by using digital technologies. 



The purpose
of our study is developing lexical competence of grade 11 learners 
by digital technology
The following 
methods
were used to solve the tasks: 
1) analysis of the scientific and academic literature on Methods of teaching foreign 
students languages, Linguistics, Linguodidactics, Pedagogy, Psychology and ICT 
resources in the framework of the problem under study; 
2) learning experience in teaching vocabulary from Internet resources; 
3) experimental using teaching based on methodological instructions for 
developing lexical competence. 
Theoretical significance
of this study includes
- theoretical overview of given by Methodists and scientists definitions of 
phonological competence, its components and modern tendencies in developing lexical 
competence have been done;
- defining effective types lexical online resources for teaching grade 11 learners; 
- pointing out psychological features of foreign language acquisition by the learners 
of 15-16 years old. 
The practical significance
of this study involves creating methodological 
recommendations for developing grade 11 learner’s lexical competence by using digital 
technologies.
Work structure
. This diploma work consists of Introduction, two Parts
Conclusion, References, and Appendix. The volume is 74 pages.
Article
“Developing lexical competence of grade 11 learners by digital 
technologies” due to the topic of this paper was published in the Republican scientific-
practical conference «New trends in teaching foreign languages in lifelong learning: real 
practice and development strategies».
