Introduction
10 min

    1. Teacher starts the lesson with the game distributing cards with the words from the topic of the lesson. Students should be divided into three groups, and try to make logical sentence from the words given by teacher.

    2. Reflection: teacher asks question and introduces the topic of the lesson: “what is topic of today’s lesson? How do you think what is the aim, value, method and objective?

2.1 teacher distributes handout 2 and asks students to choose one sentence and complete it.
Reflection: Find somebody who chose the same sentence starter as you. Did you complete it in a similar way? Consider teaching a sixty-minute lesson on the past simple with an elementary class. How could you apply your metaphor to the design of the lesson?
