 The Ministry of Higher Education administers 32 universities and institutes to offer students a variety of programs including economics, engineering, finance, languages, oriental studies, architecture, chemistry, and technology.

 The Ministry of Public Education administers six institutes for the training of teachers in elementary, secondary, and higher education.

 The Ministry of Health administers seven institutes for medical and pharmaceutical training.

My university

Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami was established on September 14, 1935 by the decision of the Commissariat of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No 1364 on the basis of the pedagogical faculty of the Central Asian State University. There are different types of higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan. My friends and I study at Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami. Our University provides higher education for future teachers. Since 1947, he has been known as Nizami, an Azerbaijani poet and enlightener. The highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff of the university are providing high quality education to students. Students and professors of educational institutions, laboratories, information resource center, electronic library, information technology center, typography, sports complex, museum, professional development and retraining center, educational campus, student dormitories and canteens, teachers are at their disposal. I like my university because it is comfortable but small . Our university is divided into several buildings and they are located in different places. our building is small but compact. all conditions are present and convenient. The teachers are sincere and well-mannered. Universitetimiz kichik bo'lsa-da, juda bag'rikeng.
