Don’t avoid negative events!
Admittedly, negative things happen to everyone, 
but it’s how we respond that can change our 
luck. Don’t spend too long thinking about bad 
things that have happened to you all over again. 
Otherwise, you’ll never get lucky. But do think 
about how to prevent any bad luck you’ve had in 
the past. You can be luckier in the future, provided 
that you take constructive action to stop negative 
events in the present. Basically, as long as you 
can see a positive side to your bad luck, it will be 
beneficial to you in the future. So, make sure you 
go over any steps that you need to take to learn 
from your negative experiences.
Work hard and ask for the things you want
A popular expression tells us that the harder you 
work, the more luck you will have, and many 
experts agree that being motivated and working 
hard can contribute to good luck. Also, don’t be 
afraid to ask for what you want. Lucky people 
work hard and expect rewards. So they are more 
likely to ask for things in return for their hard 
work. Have you ever thought to yourself (when 
it was too late): If I had asked, they would have 
given it to me? Well, unfortunately, that was you 
letting some luck pass you by! If you had pushed 
your luck a little, you would now have the thing 
that you really wanted!
Obviously, everyone would prefer to have good 
luck rather than bad. I feel like I have far more luck 
now than I did before I met that scientist! Don’t 
forget, only you can change your focus and invite 
more luck into your life. Good luck!
