The main part of the lesson
(65 min)

Activation of basic knowledge:
The teacher checks homework and asks pupils questions on the topic and evaluates them
Setting goals and objectives:
Teacher introduces the name, plan, purpose, and aims of the new theme;
Teacher introduces lists of literature to work individually;
Teacher introduces the criteria and indicators for evaluating academic work (Activity 10)
Activating pupils knowledge:
Teacher invites to give definitions to the main explanations on the new theme and activate students’ knowledge by means of the innovative methods
Descriptions of new educational material
Teacher asks pupils to look at and answer questions and test their knowledge of famous people in Uzbekistan with the quiz. (Activity 2)
Strengthen
Teacher asks pupils to listen to the tape and complete the sentence. Explain them that they shouldn’t write nomore thanone word.

Teacher divides into two groups and introduces theirs with the rules and ways of working together;
Name the pictures. Who are they?. (activity 4)
Read the passage and do the true / false task. (activity 5)
Match mathematical terminology in the box A with the mathematical symbols in the box.

Teacher puts (collect) all information in common which is given on the basis of the new theme and makes conclusion;
Teacher gives students different kinds of handouts, questions or exercises in order to check what they have known on the theme.

Dividing into small groups;

Working in whole group;


Working with chalk, mass-media, newspaper, radio, tape – recorder,

Speaking task, working with pictures, Listening task, reading task, doing some exercises on grammar, writing tasks, analysis the text.

Working with Topics for lecture, , grammar and phonetic tables, test cards, flashcard, computers, handouts, materials for distributing .


Group working;
Working in small groups:(generative, cooperative)for developing communicative skills
Playing some intellectual games ,take part in debates, discussions ,vocabulary, role-plays, working in pairs,

Teacher gives conclusion for the lesson;
Teacher marks the students who have taken an active part in the lesson;
Teacher gives homework (activity 9)



Pupils to get acquainted their marks.
They record the assignment.
