Assalomu alaykum aziz o’quvchilarim! Assalomu alaykum aziz hamkasabalar! Xush kelibsiz bugungi ochiq darsga!

Bugungi darsimiz mavzusi “A headache, a toothache, a sore throat…” deya nomlanadi (“Bosh og’rig’i, tish og’rig’i, tomoq og’rig’i...”) (“At the doctor” “Shifokor huzurida” 11- bo’limining 1-darsi).

Darsimiz rejasi shundan iboratki, bugun bolalar bo’limda kasalliklar haqida bilimga ega bo’linadi.

Quyida “Darsning oltin qoidasi” va o’quvchilarni baholash mezoni berilgan.


(Good morning my dear pupils! Good morning my colleagues! Welcome to our today’s open lesson!

The theme of the lesson is “A headache, a toothache, a sore throat…” the 1st lesson which is the part of the 11th unit named “At the doctor”.

The plan of the lesson is to learn new vocabulary and structures about illness.

Below there are “Golden rules” of the lesson and the measure of marking.

II-COMPREHENSHION CHECK:
So! Are you ready?

(the teacher tries to hear the voice of her pupils by putting her hand to her ear)


Pp: …..yeahhhh….
T: I can’t hear your voice. Are you ready?

(asks once more and elicits the Pp by saying “We are ready!”)


Pp: We are ready!

T: Great! How are you?

P: “Fine! Great! Good! Ok!”

T: But I can’t see Muhammadjon. Where are you? (plays a game with one of the pupils in order to draw the PPs attention and rise their mood)

P: I’m here. (rises his hand but teachers pretends not to see him and asks again)

T: Where are you Muhammadjon? (pretends 2-3 times then finishes the game)

P: I’m here.

T: Then let’s listen to the very interesting song and dance under this and by this activity we’ll reinforce the learnt vocabulary! I think you’ll like it. Let’s play!

Activity 1 Listen and repeat.

Objectives: to introduce the unit topic, to warm up

Objective: to revise the parts of the body that the pupils have learnt so far

Objectives: to revise the vocabulary related to parts of the body; to have fun.

PPs: Yeahhhh

T: Good! Then Let’s begin! (runs the game)

Activity 4 Work in pairs. Play “Robot”.

Objectives: to practice giving instructions; to revise the vocabulary related to parts of the body; to have fun.

Kids, now you’ll work in pairs. One of you says in­structions; the next will do them as a robot. Then you change roles.

The pupils can give the following instructions: Stand up. Wash your face. Comb your hair. Wash your hands. Brush your teeth. Sit down. Touch your head. Touch your nose. Touch your eyes. Touch your hand. Touch your leg. etc.
IV-DEVELOPING THE NEW THEME:
Activity 5a Look and match.

Objectives: to introduce the new vocabulary; to give practice in guessing the meaning with the help of known words.

STEP 1:


T: Open your books to Page 54.' Find an Activity 5a. Look at the pictures and words. Match them.

STEP 2:

T: Open your Workbooks to Page 58.’ Look at the following activity. I expect you to write your answers. Write your answers here.

STEP 3:

T: Let’s check the answers!
Activity 5b Look, listen and repeat.

Objective: to practice the pronunciation of the new vocabulary

STEP 1: Here is the diagram on the board:

STEP 2:

T: These new words are made by saying: ‘a sore eye, a sore throat’, etc.

STEP 3:

T: Let’s say, the word combinations by playing the DVD. You’ll repeat them after the DVD.

STEP 4:

T: Now you can Point and Say according to these pictures.

Activity 6 Play “Mime and say”.

Objective: to consolidate the new vocabulary

STEP 1:

T: Oh kids, my head (holds her head and groan for “a headache”. As she does each action, the pupils say the vocabulary (e.g. ‘A headache!’).

STEP 2:

T: Now, you guys works in pairs to act out and identify each vocabulary item.

(After finishing the activity)



T: You are so brilliant my dears! I’m so happy.
The team’s points will be calculated and rewarded.
The marks of the kids will be read.
V - ENDING THE LESSON
Homework:

Open your Workbooks to Page 58 and look at Homework 1. (explains the task) Did you understand the task? Look at the words in the clouds and match the English words with the ones in your mother tongue.

Then look at Homework 2. You must complete the diagrams about illnesses.
