The table shows the amount of waste production (in millions of tonnes) in six different countries in three different years over a twenty-year period.

The table illustrates the amount of the waste that were produced in six various nations in three decade between 1980 and 2000.

It is noticeable that the highest waste production was generated by the US. By contrast, waste materials saw an increase in different numbers in the each country apart from Korea.
From the table it can be seen that waste output rose progressively from 131 to 192 million tonnes in the last three decade in the US. There were other rising and falling trends by producing waste materials such as in Japan and Korea. Japan was estimated the second highest country by generating waste output that increased gradually from 28 to 53 over a twenty-year period. By contrast, in the 80s of the last century, Korea had not started producing waste output. In 1990, Korea rose dramatically to 31 million tonnes. In the beginning of the new century, Korea’s waste production decreased significantly.
When it comes to Ireland, Poland and Portugal that had also a bit rising trends. There was a ninefold increase in waste materials in Ireland between 1980 and 2000. It showed an enormous increase from 0.6 to 5 million tonnes rather than any other five countries in the table, whereas Poland and Portugal saw a steep growth from 4 to 6.6 and from 2 to 5 million tonnes between 1980 and 2000.
