The aim of the lesson

By the end of the lesson students will be able to organize discussion activities

Objectives:

  1. To introduce students with discussion activities.

  2. To inform about how to work with group

  3. Working with the memory




Outcomes:

Students by the end of the lesson should:



  1. be able to work with team

  2. be able to distinguish types of discussion activities

  3. be aware to distinguish characteristics of the speaking process

  4. be able to organize discussion activities

Warm up questions, discussion, question-answer work, sample study.

The teacher greatest with students and starts the lesson with warm up activity questions related with today’s topic

  1. What is discussion?

Discussion is a action or process of talking about something in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas and a conversation or debate about specific topics

  1. What is advantages of discussion?

Develop a new perspective. Learn how to overcome conflict


  1. What is disadvantages of discussion?

some students may not take part in while others may try to dominate. This method cannot be used for teaching small children

Designing discussion activities

Teacher divides into students two groups and give a picture then students Teacher take the picture students should describe the picture by heart.

Look through the picture with every detail and after 2 min they discuss and describe the picture on whiteboard

Activity 2

10 min

Designing discussion activities

The group is divided into two groups and teacher distributes two logical question students should find the correct answer



The whole group discussion they should work with their memory

Conclusion

5-min

Teacher ask some questions about today's lesson. And students are marked
