Actuality of the theme is determined by learning the peculiarities of Pragmatic Analysis of speech acts and comparing types of speech acts. The problems of using non-technical and technical aids in developing speech skills and sub-skills, selecting teaching aids according to the types of speech, the methods of using teaching aids in developing speaking skills, listening skills, reading skills and writing skills which can be further developed life-long, depending on the individual needs.
The aim of the work is to define the origin of speech acts, differentiate its types and grammatical structure and learn the works of scholars ’such as Searle’s and Austin’s.
In order to achieve this purpose, we shall do the following tasks:
- to give some information about the effect of social life and condition to the origin of Speech Acts;
- to study the Speech Acts as a part of Pragmatics;
- to learn ddifferent types of speech acts;
- to give methodical recommendations for teaching the theme;
The object of the course work: to learn what are speech acts and differentiate its types.
The subject matter of the course work is to learn and analyze the contribution work of scholars’ such as Searle and Austin.
Practical value of the course work deals with theoretical basis of the theme and it will be useful in organizing teaching foreign languages. The results can also be used as data information materials in developing speech skills at schools, lyceums, colleges and universities.
Methods of the course paper: Historical analyzing method, Comparative method, Componential method and Innovative methods.
Methodology of the course paper is based on the works of President of our republic, well-known scholars’ scientific works and articles.
Field of application: The material of the work will be useful for young teachers of schools, academic lyceums and colleges.
