Description:
The dematerialisation and automation of the process of Temporary 
Workplace Impediments (ITPT) includes new measures to improve 
the social protection in parenting. allowing the citizen to request 
online the following benefits during the period of impediment to the 
exercise of professional activity:

Health Risk Allowance during pregnancy - Benefit attributed 
to the worker, in situations of clinical risk for the pregnant 
woman or the unborn child. 
▪
Pregnancy Interruption Allowance - Benefit attributed to the 
worker
, in situations of pregnancy’s interruption.
▪
Specific Risks Grants - Benefit granted to pregnant workers, 
workers who have recently given birth or are breastfeeding, 
and that perform night work or are exposed to specific risks 
that may jeopardise their safety and health, as long as the 
employer is not able to offer other tasks.
These new online functionalities enable the employee to:

Access information regarding all the requirements to apply, 
or descriptions of the different benefits; 
▪
Consult all details of Application / Provision submitted, with 
information of periods processed and to process, status 
situation, calculation formula and remunerations considered; 
▪
Benefit from the automatic validation of requirements and 
documents, and receive information through messages sent 
by the platform; 
▪
Upload new documents; 
▪
Asynchronous processing of applications.
