The actuality of the theme. The globalization has necessitated the learning of English in an international perspective. English learners who are academically proficient in their native language represent different levels of academic experiences, abilities and interests in addition to their language proficiency. Teaching requires creativity, there are lots of different methods, strategies and techniques that can be applied and brought into classroom. Any teaching technique or method including portfolio based instruction will not be successful if students are not engaged in the process. Different theories about the nature of language and how languages are learnt (the approach) imply different ways of teaching English and different methods make use of different kind of activity.
The object of the work.Teaching and learning may be considered as two mutually defining aspects of the same process for the teacher is not just a giver but also a receiver and the learner is not just passive recipient of made to measure packages of knowledge but also an active participant. Looking at this teachers and learners are both participants in an interaction activity which has been traditionally called teaching learning.
The subject of the study is the problem of usinginnovative methods in teaching English, especially ESP students.


Chapter 1.What is technique?
“There is nothing permanent except change,” says Heraclites, the pre Aristotelian Greek philosopher. Change is the law of nature. With a number of educational options available before the present generation learners, the newer methods and techniques seem to have emerged in the field of education that have entirely changed the face of traditional system of education. This article presents some innovative techniques, which are very handful to hold English classes effectively and fruitfully.
Before we speaking about innovational techniques we should know the meaning of it. We may see the word “technique ” in all branches of life and science.
But in teaching technique is a classroom practice used by a teacher or the implementation of approach and method. As Anthony (in Fauziati 2002:16) views approach as “A set of correlative assumptions dealing with the nature of language and the nature of language teaching and learning”.
