Union AMC launched Medium Duration Fund 

Union AMC has launched the Union Medium 
Duration Fund. 

It is an open-ended medium-term debt scheme 
investing in instruments such that the Macaulay 
duration of the portfolio is between three to four 
years. 

The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens on August 24 
and closes on September 7, 2020. 

The minimum investment required is ₹5,000 and 
in multiples of ₹1 thereafter. 
Ganesh Vilas awarded Star 2020 Certificate 

Solapur based social activist Ganesh Vilas Lengare 
has been awarded the Star 2020 Certificate by the 
World Book of Records, London. 

The organisation, found in 2017, honours 
personalities for their outstanding contribution 
towards humanity and universal peace.

New Electronics Manufacturing Policy in UP 

Uttar Pradesh government has announced it's 
Electronics Manufacturing Policy 2020. 

The policy aims at inviting investment of 
40,000 crore rupees in the next five years and 
generate 4 lakh direct employment. 

CM Yogi Adityanath had announced Electronics 
Manufacturing Policy 2017 for Noida, Greater 
Noida and Yamuna Expressway regions. 

The new policy has been extended to the entire 
state now. 
Odisha to set up one more plasma therapy unit 

The Odisha Govt has decided to set up one more 
plasma therapy unit for COVID-19 patients taking 
the total number of such units in the state to six. 

This was revealed in a review meeting held by 
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in capital 
Bhubaneswar. 

He directed to set up the unit in the Saheed 
Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital in the 
tribal-dominated Koraput district in a week's time.
