hereinafter „Participant” came to this agreement.
1) DEFINITION:PROGRAM
Summer Work And Travel is a Cultural Exchange Program in the United States of America, organized
and administered by the State Department for foreign students who study full - time and who fulfil the
requirements of the State Department and of the US Embassy in Uzbekistan. The program allows the
students with full - time work in the USA during the summer holiday, but not for more than 14 weeks,
period between 20th May and 20th September; SPONSOR - is an organization chosen in accordance
with the terms and conditions established by the Federal Department of USA as sponsor of the program.
The participant is obliged to read carefully the general terms and conditions of the sponsor for the
participation at the program, and by their acceptance, he / she enters into a separate agreement with
the SPONSOR organization, different from this agreement; SEVIS - the record system of USA, which the
US government uses to maintain accurate and current information about the non-immigrant students,
cultural exchange visitors; DS 2019 - work permit, admissibility certificate for the visitors’ exchange
which offers the right to apply for visa J-1, to enter in USA to participate at the Program, within the
conditions described by the State Department and SPONSOR for the participation to the program; J-1
VISA - it is the type of visa intended to those who travel for the cultural exchange programs, obtained
based on DS-2019; PROGRAM OFFER - is a document, composed of the information about the Company
- employer in USA for Program / denomination of Company, address, contact data and others /, as the
Company conditions - employer / job description, rate per hour, beginning and end of the program
period with the respective Company - Employer and others; JOB PACKAGE - special pack of program
offers and locations.
