Description:
The driver’s licence can be revalidated online, in the IMT website, or 
using the network of Citizen Spots, where the citizen can benefit 
from assisted digital attendance.

Description:
The 
‘Automóvel On
-
line’
service can be used by any citizen using the 
electronic authentication features of the Citizen Card; it can also be 
accessed by lawyers and notaries. The system makes it possible to 
obtain current registration data on a car over the Internet. Following 
its purchase, it also has to be registered under the new owner’s 
name. An all-electronic car registration costs EUR 15 less than its 
paper-based equivalent. Authentication is accomplished via the 
digital certificate on the eID card.
